The GNU Scientific Library (v1.11) for Visual Studio 2008

Updated 1st April 2008: Updated the build files for GSL 1.11 for Microsoft Visual Studio 2008

 This is a port of the GNU Scientific Library for Microsoft Visual Studio 2008.  It provides build projects for GSL static and dynamic link libraries (DLL) and the associated tests.  It also supports both 32-bit and 64-bit builds.

Microsoft Compiler

Here are the project files for building GSL using the Microsoft Compiler.  All tests pass but optimisation has been turned off for the file fft.c as this fails when optimisation is enabled.

Intel Compiler

The Intel compiler now builds successfully after converting the Microsoft build projects but it reports some errors: This appears to be the result of an issue with floating point precision but I have not yet found the exact problem.  Please let me know if you find a fix.
